In a dramatic legal move, a California-based scientist and entrepreneur has taken action against an Australian individual and several corporations for defamation and economic interference. Lloyd Tran filed the complaint on November 10, 2025, in the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara, targeting Ausaminos aka Wil, The Constant Company LLC, and Google LLC d/b/a YouTube. Tran alleges that these defendants are responsible for disseminating false information that has severely damaged his professional reputation.
Lloyd Tran’s lawsuit accuses Ausaminos aka Wil of publishing a defamatory video titled “The Bioglutide Scam: Lies and Fraud at Biomed Industries” on October 8, 2025. This video was made available on YouTube and the website www.ausaminos.com. According to Tran, the content of this video contains false statements about his actions and character that were made with reckless disregard for the truth. The lawsuit further claims that these statements have caused significant harm to Tran’s professional reputation within the biotechnology community where he is known for innovation and scientific integrity.
Tran also implicates The Constant Company LLC as the hosting provider for Ausaminos.com and Google LLC as the platform through which the defamatory content was distributed globally. Despite sending cease-and-desist letters to both Ausaminos and YouTube on October 24, 2025, followed by another letter to The Constant Company on November 6, 2025, no corrective actions were taken by any of the parties involved.
The complaint details two main causes of action: defamation (libel) and intentional interference with prospective economic advantage. Tran asserts that he had existing relationships with investors and collaborators that were disrupted due to the false statements published by Ausaminos. He argues that these actions were not only wrongful but independently tortious, leading to substantial economic losses.
In seeking justice from the court, Lloyd Tran demands compensatory damages exceeding $1 million along with punitive damages aimed at punishing the defendants for their alleged misconduct. Additionally, he seeks injunctive relief requiring all defamatory content be removed from public access immediately.
Representing himself in this case as Plaintiff In Pro Per is Lloyd Tran who demands a jury trial on all issues so triable under California law. The case has been assigned Case ID No. 25cv4a7e5le at San Jose Courthouse under jurisdiction provided by federal statutes due to diversity of citizenship between parties involved across international borders – specifically between United States citizen (Plaintiff) versus foreign state citizen (Defendant).
