Sadie Bramlette, a 28-year-old resident of Sacramento, has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, including fentanyl. The announcement was made by Acting U.S. Attorney Michele Beckwith.
Court documents reveal that between January 2023 and January 2025, Bramlette and her partner in drug trafficking, Dejian Johl, aged 27 from Merced, were involved in selling drugs on public forums via social media platforms and dark web marketplaces. The drugs sold included fentanyl, methamphetamine, Ecstasy, LSD, ketamine, heroin, crack cocaine, cocaine, Adderall, Xanax, promethazine, Soma, and OxyContin. Johl managed customer orders and payments while coordinating with Bramlette to fulfill the orders through the United States Postal Service.
As part of her plea agreement, Bramlette consented to forfeit over $100,000 in cash along with jewelry and luxury items acquired with drug money during the conspiracy period. It was found that Johl made at least 1,350 transfers to Bramlette’s Cash App account primarily consisting of drug proceeds or funds used to facilitate their operation.
Bramlette is the second individual to plead guilty in connection with drug dealing on the dark web and social media sites. Her co-conspirator Johl entered a guilty plea last week for conspiracy to distribute controlled substances.
The investigation leading to this case was conducted by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service with Assistant U.S. Attorney Jason Hitt prosecuting.
Sentencing for Johl is scheduled before U.S. District Judge William B. Shubb on September 22, 2025. Bramlette’s sentencing will follow on September 29, 2025. Both face a maximum statutory penalty of up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine; however, the final sentence will be determined by the court considering applicable statutory factors and Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
