Angela Rodriguez has taken legal action against her former employer, alleging a range of labor law violations that have impacted her and other employees. The complaint was filed on September 15, 2025, in the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara, targeting InternalDrive Parent, Inc., doing business as ID Tech.

The lawsuit claims that InternalDrive Parent, Inc. systematically failed to compensate its employees adequately for their work. Angela Rodriguez accuses the company of not paying minimum wages, overtime wages, and failing to provide meal and rest breaks as required by California law. “Defendants hired Plaintiff and Class Members but failed to properly pay them all wages owed for all time worked,” the complaint states. The alleged violations include breaches of several sections of the California Labor Code such as sections 1194, 1197, 226.7, among others. Rodriguez worked for the company from January 2019 through May 2022 as a Client Services Lead at their Campbell location in California.

Rodriguez argues that InternalDrive Parent’s actions were deliberate attempts to cut costs at the expense of employee rights. She alleges that employees were often required to work off-the-clock without compensation and were not reimbursed for necessary business expenses. Furthermore, she contends that wage statements provided by the company were inaccurate and misleading.

In this class-action lawsuit, Rodriguez seeks a range of remedies including actual and liquidated damages, statutory penalties, restitution for unpaid wages, attorney’s fees, and injunctive relief to prevent further violations. The plaintiff is also asking for certification of the lawsuit as a class action so that other similarly affected employees can join in seeking justice.

The legal team representing Angela Rodriguez includes Barbara DuVan-Clarke, Danielle L. GruppChang, P.J. Van Ert, and Melissa Rodriguez from Blackstone Law APC based in Beverly Hills. The case is being reviewed under Case No.: 25CV475179 by Judge M. Suarez.
