Golden Peters has filed a significant legal complaint against a California-based company, accusing it of multiple labor law violations. This lawsuit was filed on November 18, 2025, in the Superior Court of California for the County of Sacramento by Wilshire Law Firm, representing Golden Peters. The defendant in this case is Johnson Hospitality LLC.

The complaint details numerous allegations against Johnson Hospitality LLC, including failure to pay for all hours worked, not providing required meal and rest periods, and not maintaining accurate records. These accusations are brought under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) of 2004, which allows employees to sue for civil penalties on behalf of themselves and other aggrieved workers. Peters claims that Johnson Hospitality LLC consistently failed to compensate employees properly for overtime work and did not provide adequate meal breaks as mandated by California law. “Defendants wrongfully failed…to provide Plaintiff and Aggrieved Employees with their legally mandated 30-minute, uninterrupted, and duty-free meal period,” the complaint states.

The lawsuit further accuses Johnson Hospitality LLC of failing to issue accurate wage statements and timely final wages upon termination of employment. It also alleges that the company did not indemnify employees for necessary expenditures incurred during their duties. According to Peters’ legal team, these actions violate several sections of the California Labor Code and Industrial Welfare Commission Orders. The plaintiff argues that these violations were willful and deliberate acts by the defendants who had actual or constructive notice but refused to rectify their unlawful conduct.

Peters seeks various forms of relief from the court, including civil penalties under PAGA on behalf of himself, other aggrieved employees, and the State of California. Additionally, he requests injunctive relief to prevent future violations by Johnson Hospitality LLC. The plaintiff also seeks an award for reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs incurred during this legal battle.

Representing Golden Peters in this case are attorneys John G. Yslas, Jeffrey C. Bils, Aram Boyadjian, and Andrew Sandoval from Wilshire Law Firm. The case is filed under Case No. LWDA-CM-1122627-25 with no specific judge mentioned at this stage.
