A class action lawsuit has been filed against a prominent cannabis delivery company, alleging widespread labor violations. The complaint was lodged by plaintiff Uhane Sandal on October 17, 2025, in the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara, targeting Eaze Inc., Eaze California LLC, and associated entities.

The lawsuit claims that the defendants have systematically violated multiple provisions of the California Labor Code. These include failing to pay overtime wages, not providing required meal and rest breaks, neglecting to pay minimum wages, and issuing non-compliant wage statements. Additionally, the suit accuses the company of unfair business practices under California Business & Professions Code ยง 17200. According to Sandal’s attorneys from Boyamian Law Inc., these practices are not isolated incidents but part of a broader pattern affecting numerous employees across California.

Uhane Sandal asserts that she and other similarly situated employees were regularly required to work beyond eight hours per day or forty hours per week without receiving appropriate overtime compensation. The complaint also alleges that Eaze failed to provide adequate meal and rest periods as mandated by law. “Defendants intentionally and willfully required Plaintiff and other class members to work during meal periods,” states the filing. Moreover, it is claimed that upon termination or resignation, employees did not receive all due wages within the legally specified timeframe.

The plaintiff seeks various forms of relief from the court, including unpaid wages with interest, statutory penalties for labor code violations, liquidated damages for unpaid minimum wages, reimbursement for business expenses incurred by employees without compensation, and restitution for unfair business practices. Additionally, injunctive relief is sought to prevent further violations.

Representing Uhane Sandal is Michael H. Boyamian from Boyamian Law Inc., while the case will be presided over by Judge M. Suarez under Case Number 25CV477886.
