In a class action lawsuit that could have significant implications for employment practices, Shane Lovely has filed a complaint against Rockstar Limo Lounge, LLC, doing business as Sterling Transportation. The case was filed on February 17, 2026, in the Superior Court of California, County of Sacramento. Lovely accuses the transportation company of numerous labor violations under California law.

Shane Lovely, representing himself and other similarly situated employees, alleges that Rockstar Limo Lounge engaged in unfair competition and failed to comply with various labor laws. The complaint outlines several accusations against the company, including failure to pay minimum and overtime wages, not providing required meal and rest periods, issuing inaccurate itemized wage statements, and failing to reimburse employees for necessary business expenses. These allegations are based on Lovely’s employment from March 2025 to July 2025 as a non-exempt hourly employee entitled to certain protections under California labor laws.

The plaintiff claims that Rockstar Limo Lounge’s practices were part of a broader pattern of unlawful conduct affecting all non-exempt employees over a four-year period. “Defendants’ uniform policy and practice was an unlawful, unfair, and deceptive business practice,” the complaint states. It further alleges that these practices allowed the company to retain wages due to employees unlawfully.

The lawsuit seeks multiple forms of relief from the court. This includes an injunction to prevent future violations by the defendants and compensation for economic injuries suffered by Lovely and other class members due to past unlawful conduct. Additionally, it demands restitution for unpaid wages and penalties for violations such as failing to provide meal breaks or accurate wage statements.

The legal team representing Shane Lovely includes attorneys Shani O. Zakay, Jackland K. Hom, Jennifer Gerstenzang, Nicole Noursamadi, Eden Zakay, and Jaclyn Joyce from Zakay Law Group APLC in San Diego. The case is presided over by Judge K. Johnson under Case No.: 2 Rit” OOS Foe.
