Larry Jamerson has taken legal action against his former employer, accusing them of a series of labor law violations. On November 26, 2025, Jamerson filed a class-action lawsuit in the Superior Court of California, County of Sacramento, against Thatcher Group, Inc., and Thatcher Company of California, Inc. The lawsuit alleges that these companies failed to comply with several provisions of the California Labor Code and engaged in unfair business practices.

The complaint outlines multiple grievances against the defendants. Larry Jamerson claims that since June 2019, when he began working as a Production Operator for the defendants in Los Angeles County, he and other employees were systematically denied their rightful wages and benefits. According to the filing, Thatcher Group and its affiliates failed to pay minimum wages and overtime compensation as required by law. They also allegedly neglected to provide mandatory meal periods and rest breaks or compensate employees for missed breaks.

Jamerson’s allegations extend beyond wage issues. He accuses the company of failing to reimburse necessary business expenses incurred by employees during their duties. Furthermore, he claims that upon termination or resignation, employees did not receive their final wages promptly as mandated by California law. The complaint also highlights the company’s failure to furnish accurate itemized wage statements, which deprived employees of essential information regarding their earnings.

The lawsuit seeks various forms of relief from the court. Jamerson is pursuing unpaid wages at both regular and overtime rates for himself and similarly affected class members. He also seeks liquidated damages for minimum wage violations and statutory penalties for late payment of wages upon termination. Additionally, Jamerson requests reimbursement for unreimbursed business expenses along with interest on all unpaid amounts.

The case underscores broader concerns about labor practices within Thatcher Group’s operations across California. It aims to secure restitution for affected workers while compelling the company to adhere strictly to labor laws moving forward.

Representing Larry Jamerson in this legal battle are attorneys Seung L. Yang, Tiffany Hyun, Jessica M. Abreu, and Kaitlyn Fry from The Sentinel Firm APC based in Los Angeles. The case is presided over by Judge C. Leurgans under Case No.: 2 Sy OSS 4 So.
