Michael Pratt, the owner of GirlsDoPorn, has pleaded guilty to multiple counts of sex trafficking in a federal court. The charges were filed in October 2019 in California, accusing Pratt of deceiving and coercing young women into appearing in pornographic videos. He fled the United States in mid-2019 but was arrested in Spain in December 2022 and extradited to San Diego in March 2024.

Pratt admitted to using force, fraud, and coercion to recruit hundreds of young women for his website. He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to sex traffic from 2012 to 2019 and sex trafficking a victim in May 2012.

Pratt owned and operated GirlsDoPorn, which featured videos of young women. He recruited co-defendants Matthew Wolfe and Ruben Andre Garcia as part of his scheme. The websites generated millions through subscriptions despite false assurances given to recruits about video privacy.

Women were misled about the distribution of their videos, often believing they would not be posted online or viewed by people they knew. Pratt used “Reference Girls” to reassure prospective models falsely.

Pratt also concealed ownership details from recruits using innocuous company names like “Begin Modeling.” Videos were primarily shot at hotels or short-term rentals around San Diego.

In one instance involving Victim 1, Pratt used an alias on Craigslist for recruitment under false pretenses that her video would only be seen privately overseas. Despite initial reluctance, she participated after reassurances from a Reference Girl. Her video was later posted online without her consent.

Garcia received a 20-year prison sentence in June 2021; Theodore Gyi got four years in November 2022; Wolfe was sentenced to 14 years in March 2024. Valorie Moser’s sentencing is set for September 12, while Pratt will be sentenced on September 8 before Judge Janis L. Sammartino.

The FBI conducted the investigation leading up to these charges.
