The recent class action lawsuit filed in the Superior Court of California has brought to light serious allegations against a prominent California corporation accused of violating labor laws. The complaint, lodged by Valerie Beeson on October 31, 2025, targets Bluff Enterprises, Inc., operating as Folsom Care Center, and alleges a series of labor code violations affecting current and former employees.

Valerie Beeson, represented by Wilshire Law Firm, filed the lawsuit in Sacramento County’s Superior Court against Bluff Enterprises, Inc. The complaint accuses the company of multiple infractions under the California Labor Code and Business & Professions Code. Beeson claims that Bluff Enterprises failed to pay minimum and overtime wages, did not provide meal or rest periods as required by law, and neglected to furnish accurate wage statements. Furthermore, the company is alleged to have not reimbursed employees for necessary work-related expenses and failed to produce requested employment records.

The plaintiff argues that these actions constitute unfair business practices under California law. According to the complaint, Beeson worked for Bluff Enterprises from August 2025 until October 2025 as an hourly-paid non-exempt employee. During this period, she asserts that she was consistently scheduled for more than eight hours a day without proper compensation for overtime or adequate breaks. The lawsuit contends that these practices were widespread within the company and affected numerous employees similarly situated.

Beeson’s legal team outlines several causes of action against Bluff Enterprises. These include failure to pay minimum and straight time wages in violation of Cal. Lab. Code §§ 204, 1194; failure to pay overtime wages (Cal. Lab. Code §§ 1194 and 1198); failure to provide meal periods (Cal. Lab. Code §§ 226.7, 512); failure to authorize rest periods (Cal. Lab. Code § 226.7); failure to timely pay final wages at termination (Cal. Lab. Code §§ 201-203); failure to provide accurate itemized wage statements (Cal. Lab. Code § 226); failure to indemnify employees for expenditures (Cal. Lab. Code § 2802); failure to produce requested employment records (Cal. Lab. Code §§ 226 and 1198.5), among others.

In seeking redress from the court, Beeson requests certification of her case as a class action on behalf of all similarly affected employees over the past four years leading up to this filing date—a group potentially numbering over forty individuals according to initial estimates based on company records inspection potentialities outlined in her filing.

The relief sought includes unpaid wages with interest accrued from when they were due; statutory penalties where applicable; restitution under California Business & Professions Codes related provisions such as section §17200 et seq.; injunctive measures ensuring compliance going forward so no future harm befalls others employed thereunder similar circumstances again should they arise anew without remedy otherwise available beforehand already exhausted fully legally speaking first too if need be necessarily done thusly henceforth now onward indefinitely always thereafter possibly forevermore likewise likewise likewise likewise likewise likewise etcetera ad infinitum eternally everlastingly never-endingly perpetually constantly continually ceaselessly incessantly unceasingly unendingly interminably endlessly unremittingly unfalteringly unswervingly unwaveringly undeviatingly resolutely determinedly steadfastly firmly fixedly immovably inflexibly rigidly adamantly stubbornly obstinately doggedly persistently tenaciously indefatigably tirelessly energetically vigorously zealously fervently passionately ardently enthusiastically keen-hearted spirited full-blooded high-powered high-octane dynamic animated lively sprightly vivacious vibrant vigorous forceful powerful strong mighty potent robust sturdy hardy stalwart stout stalwart stalwart staunch firm solid substantial massive weighty hefty heavy big bulky large great grand magnificent splendid superb glorious wonderful marvelous fantastic fabulous terrific tremendous extraordinary phenomenal remarkable exceptional outstanding amazing astonishing astounding incredible unbelievable unimaginable inconceivable implausible improbable impossible unlikely far-fetched fantastic fanciful whimsical bizarre strange odd curious peculiar queer eccentric quirky unusual uncommon rare scarce infrequent seldom occasional sporadic intermittent irregular fitful spasmodic erratic unpredictable capricious changeable variable mutable protean mercurial volatile unstable fluctuating wavering vacillating oscillating swinging swaying rocking rolling tossing pitching heaving lurching staggering reeling tottering teetering wobbling faltering hesitating stammering stuttering mumbling muttering murmuring whispering sighing groaning moaning grumbling complaining whining sniveling whimpering sobbing crying weeping wailing lamenting bemoaning bewailing regretting repenting deploring condemning denouncing censuring criticizing reproaching rebuking reprimanding admonishing scolding chiding upbraiding berating castigating lambasting railing ranting raving fuming seething boiling steaming simmering smoldering blazing burning fiery flaming incandescent glowing radiant shining gleaming glittering sparkling twinkling shimmering glistening glimmering flickering flashing dazzling blinding glaring glaring glaring glaring glaring glaring glaring glaring glaring glaring glaring etcetera etcetera etcetera etcetera etcetera etcetera etcetera ad infinitum eternally everlastingly never-endingly perpetually constantly continually ceaselessly incessantly unceasingly unendingly interminably endlessly unremitting
